PowerMesh Morph
Description
Morphs between either painted keyframes or specified frames from the input. This is made possible with Mocha Pro’s powerful sub-planar PowerMesh tracking which tracks warped surfaces and organic objects. For more information on Mocha Pro’s PowerMesh tracking, see the Mocha User Guide.
Go to the PowerMesh Morph tutorial to see how it works.
Node Group
Warp.
Inputs
Input
Connect an input image
Aux Input
Connect an optional second input.
Data Input (Objects, Keyframes)
Connect a Paint node Data output and the painted keyframes are used as source frames for the morph.
Data Input (Mesh)
Connect a Mocha Pro Data output to use the PowerMesh track to drive the morph.
Controls
Mesh
Selects the Mocha layer containing the mesh data.
Use Alpha
Mesh
Uses the PowerMesh shape alpha.
Source
Uses the source alpha.
Range
Sets the morph range when not using the Keyframes data port.
Extend Start
Holds the start frame of the range.
Extend End
Holds the end frame of the range.
Mode
Continuous
Morphs between painted keyframes as displayed in the Range Info field.
Pairs
Morphs between pairs of keyframes as displayed in the Range Info field. Any frames outside the pairs are not morphed and the source input passes through instead.
Blend
Determines the blending interpolation type between keyframes.
Linear
A linear blend between keyframes.
Smooth
Smoothly blends between keyframes.
Blend Amount
A value of 1 blends using a standard ease-in/ease-out curve. Increasing the amount beyond 1 delays the transition toward the next keyframe, making it more heavily weighted toward the starting point--while still preserving smooth, gradual motion without sharp changes.
Blur
Blurs the matte.
Blur Type
Determines the type of blur.
Centered
The blur is centered on the edge of the alpha, equally blurring inward and outward.
Inner
The alpha is blurred inward.
Outer
The alpha is blurred outward.
Shrink/Grow
Shrinks or grows the alpha. Negative values shrink and positive values grow the alpha.
Range Info
Displays the morph range information.
